our tale...
True bargain shoppers recognize each other immediately. It’s the glint in the eye while broadcasting to anyone who will listen, “My entire ensemble, including the purse, cost just $14.99.”
It’s in the blood. Most people just don’t get how passionate and competitive it is.
The bargain shoppers know instinctively that it’s a sport; sometimes a contact sport.
Happily for Winston-Salem, a match made in retail heaven came to be for die hard shoppers, Anna Fisher and Tracy Sainte Marie.
They met while chairing an auction at their children’s school. It soon became inevitable that they must share their bargain hunting prowess with the community. Thus, Re-tale...where every item has a story, was born. The little shop on Burke Street threw open its doors in September 2009. The rest is bargain history.
Tracy and Anna pride themselves on keeping their storefront fresh and inviting. Hand-picking only the best and most stylish new and almost-new merchandise is their forte.
Also, much to their delight, an unlikely niche has developed. Personal shopping. What started as an e-mail list has become a wish list. Tracy and Anna challenge themselves to find that perfect item.
Both ladies liken their shopping talents to their success in competitive sports. Tracy played soccer. Anna, tennis. In both pursuits, creativity and perseverance pay off.
Stop by Re-tale and see for yourself! It’s a new experience every time you visit.
